king on the C-L-E-A-N cosmetics, skincare, bodycare lifestyle to a T since reading No More Dirty Looks in January. As I wrote (here) about immediately after reading the book, for years I have been buying “natural” products thinking that they are truly natural, but in reality they are full of chemicals with a few natural products added in. So, really, in NO WAY NATURAL! Boooo!
No More Dirty Looks turned me on to so many new products and they still are. My favorite discovery is W3LL PEOPLE makeup. I have been using Bare Escentials makeup for years and while they do seem to actually be natural I was rarely ever completely satisfied with the coverage. Somedays I would think YES! I look good! I love this makeup! But often times I was just feeling okay about it and I always felt that it wore if quite quickly.
I am sooooo happy that I took a chance and tried out W3LL People! It is truly clean and I feel damn pretty everytime that I put it on! I purchased the Narcissist Supernatural Foundation stick and the Altruist Supernatural Mineral Foundation 
and I am in love with them both. Some days I use both, some days I use one or the other. I use the Narcissist stick as a little cover up spotter or all over my face depending on the day and how much coverage I want.
Not only do they work amazingly well and are made with all CLEAN ingredients, they feel so good on! Like, I actually want to put makeup on! My skin feels supported with my W3LL people makeup on and it even smells good!

I want to go clean because I really miss wearing makeup sometimes. I realized a while ago that the chemicals in makeup are just as scary as the chemicals found in processed food. Our pores need to be clean the same way as our insides need to be! What a liberating feeling to find some make up that will satisfy both my inner hippie and inner diva! After having kids and skipping out on make-up for the past few years being a stay-at-home mom, just yesterday I thought I’d start wearing a little make-up again. While trying to be more conscientious about mainstream consumer products, I started to thinkg maybe make-up was kind of gross and probably hazardous. After watching the storyorstuff.org’s insight on cosmetics I was blown away. I cannot believe that the cosmetic companies are allowed to regulate themselves, and that they do not have to provide a full list of their products’ ingredients. I would be very grateful to go CLEAN with your fabulous giveaway items. Thank you for opening my eyes and mind to an amazing company.

As the theme of the month seems to be cleansing, I feel like clean make up is one area that I would LOVE some big changes! I feel like these products are in alignment with the kind of health and healing vibe that feels good to me!
To honour my body, as well as those I’m connected with, I’ve decided that I’m starting a holistic cleanse for the next 30 days – including changes to my diet (Body Ecology cleanse), workouts (more yoga, floor hockey, walking, biking, etc), and deliberately choosing feel-good thoughts (feeling as good as I can, as often as I can!).
Looking forward to learning even more about these amazing products and company and then speeding the good word!

i want to go clean – actually have gone off almost all ‘convential’ makeup products (can’t seem to break my love affair w/ my Maybelline mascara tho!) and have yet to find a lip tint i like – this is a brand new to me brand – sweet 🙂
